Maes C
Maes C is the perfect place to enjoy the Eisteddfod atmosphere in the evening over a pint or two, offering an eclectic mix of poetry, music and much more.
With the ability to combine new and fresh acts with real blasts from the past, Maes C is the place to go to enjoy the best on offer in Wales in a relaxed and chilled atmosphere - without forgetting the late bar every night.
Maes C is held on the official caravan site in Parc Bryn Bach, and the aim of these evenings is to continue with the friendly and fun filled atmosphere on the performance stages and around the food patios on the Maes during the day.
Mynediad am Ddim kicks off the proceedings on Saturday evening, then Gwibdaith Hen Frân and Disco Aled Wyn provide the entertainemt at a special Sunday evening event aimed at the whole family.
Tecwyn Ifan and Huw M take centre stage on Monday evening with Ail Symudiad and Geraint Lovgreen performing on Tuesday. Wednesday evening looks to be a very different state of affairs, with a packed line-up including a bit of everything – music, poetry, comedy, dance – which can almost be described as a potted version of Maes C! Amongst those taking to the stage will be Sesh Bach with Dewi Pws and Radwm, Gary Slaymaker and Y Glêr.
Why not let the weekend start a little bit early this week, with one of Wales’ most iconic bands, Tebot Piws? Twmffat’s also on the bill on a night which is sure to be a sell out. Another night which is always a sell out – and the highlight of the Eisteddfod fringe for many is the Academi’s wonderful Stomp – so book your ticket as soon as you can!
And who better to bring the week to an end that the unmistakable voice of Meic Stevens – sharing a stage with Al Lewis Band?
