Our new competition portal
We've developed a brand new competition portal for 2023, so registering to compete is slightly different this year.
1 Choose your competition
Choose your competition and put it in your basket. Once you’ve chosen all your competitions, check you’re happy – this is your chance to get rid of anything you don’t want – all you have to do is press the ‘remove’ button and then click ‘ready to pay’.
2 Create your account
You’ll have to register as a new user – it’s a brand new system – but don’t worry, you’ll only need to do this once. Then you can pay for your competitions.
3 Confirmation
Once we've processed your entry, you’ll receive an email with more information about your competition If you’ve registered for a composition competition, you’ll be invited to upload your work. The system allows us to keep your ‘real name’ and your pseudonym apart throughout the process so your identity remains a secret – unless you win.
If you’ve registered for a stage competition, your email will let you know how and when you need to upload your copies to complere the process, and anything else you need to do before festival week.
4 Competitions Homepage
The email will also give you access to your competitions homepage, and everything you'll need is displayed here. These messages are sent from cofrestru@eisteddfod.cymru - please add this address to your address to make sure you receive our messages.
5 Advice and support
If you’ve got any questions about competing, email cystadlu@eisteddfod.cymru and send a message to cymorth@artistiaid-eisteddfod.cymru if you have any queries about the system itself.
